Veluda S.A. products bear the CE marking according to the European Directives: 2014/35/EU, 2014/30/EU : Water purification systems, water dispensers, filters, water softeners.
CE Marking is valid only for products for which EU specifications have been introduced.
Veluda S.A. complies with the European legislation for drinking water: Council Directive 98/83/EC on the quality of water intended for human consumption and Commission Directive (EU) 2015/1787 (mending Annexes II and III to Council Directive 98/83/EC) and also the European Standards for Water Treatment Equipment.
The company is an active member of the Water Quality Association as well as Hellenic Water Association.
Filters and RO membranes of Veluda have been tested and certified by NSF.
The Quality Department of Veluda S.A. consists of specialized scientific staff and is conducting continuous mechanical control of the products as well as sampling water quality control. The chemical and microbiological water quality is tested by a laboratory accredited by the Hellenic Accreditation System SA. In addition, the Quality Department also carries out internal inspections in all sections of the company as well as in its branches and associates. In addition, inspections are also carried out at supplier factories to verify their compliance with the company’s high quality requirements. Collaboration with a new supplier is only possible if only the latter has a complete certificate file and meets the requirements of Greek and European law.
